Stamparatus....coming soon!

It has been so hard to keep details of this new product a secret for so long, but now I can share it all with you! Finally!!

Introducing the Stamparatus, an innovative stamp placement tool developed in partnership with a Leader to Leader (L2L) demonstrator team, of which I was a part of. We were committed to a confidentiality agreement and could not share anything with anyone while this was being developed.

It was so exciting to attend OnStage this last weekend, more details about this later, and it was even more exciting to have this new product, the Stamparatus, announced to everyone! The excitement and enthusiasm for this innovative tool was fantastic and we all can't wait to get our hands on it to put it to great use! It is going to be MUST HAVE item in your crafting supplies!

Do you frequently create multiple projects? Do you love trying new techniques? Do you prefer having things perfectly lined up and precisely placed? Is it difficult for you to hold on to a stamp block? Have you ever struggled to apply just the right amount of pressure when they stamp?

If you answered YES to any of the questions above then this new innovative tool is FOR YOU!!

This new product will be in the Annual Catalogue out next year, however, Stampin' Up! know that you will want your hands on one NOW, so they are releasing it early and due to the popularity of it are trialling a new one of getting it into your hands quicker, and with the high demand, aiming for less backorder issues. It will be done by a Reservation process (more details further down in this post)...much like reserving a concert ticket for yourself! Reservations allow SU! to order tools from the manufacturer based on direct requests from customers, not on predictions (AKA forecasting).

It’s big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you’ll wonder how you crafted without it! Why do YOU need one? You’ll fall in love with stamping all over again when you learn everything you can do with it!
  • Make multiples with ease
  • Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
  • If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
  • Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
  • Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates
  • Develop new and specialized stamping techniques with adjustable stamping plates and precision placement

I need product details!

OnStage Swaps!

Well the excitement is mounting as it gets close to attending OnStage and Centre Stage!

What is OnStage?

OnStage is an exciting events programme designed to bring together Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world; it allows demonstrators to share the excitement surrounding catalogue launches, be recognised for their achievements, receive business training, and feel a part of the global Stampin’ Up! community. OnStage is also a little bit like attending a very big (and very fun!) party. We get to meet new friends, swap, create Make & Takes, take home free products, and much more!

Centre Stage is for Silver Elite title and above demonstrators, who get spoilt with a catered dinner, additional training and a special gift! I can't wait to attend that tomorrow evening and catch up with some fellow demonstrators prior to OnStage on Saturday.

You can also attend events in other countries - and some of my Aussie & NZ demo friends are doing just that!! Imagine attending the OnStage live event in Salt Lake City for 2.5 days...jealous much!

However, I am travelling to one closer to Melbourne! Well I am already in Victoria spending time catching up with my husband's family in Rye.

In between time spending with family and just relaxing I have also been putting together my swaps for OnStage. Swaps are projects we make, usually card fronts, with current Stampin' Up! products to share ideas and inspiration with others. So I swap my cards for other demos projects, love it!

I decided to create my initial swap with a current Host Only stamp set - Background Bits - and basic stamping, because not everyone is an experienced stamper or have as much product as I do (and I know others have a lot more too!). I also decided to use one of my favourite colours - Bermuda Bay, coordinating that with Smoky Slate and Basic Gray.

Here is my first swap (I made 20)...

To soften the Whisper White cardstock I flicked Smoky Slate ink on it with a Stampin' Write Marker and I inked the edges slightly with some Bermuday Bay ink.

I then decided that I wanted to step this up to show how you can embelish it further and add additional elements and embelishments to this basic layout. This was the result (I made 16 of these)...

I used the same layout, but this time I stamped two rows of flourish in Basic Gray and lifted the greeting up with Stampin' Dimensionals and created a banner effect, spongiing the edges here too!

I added a piece of Bermuda Bay ribbon down the side and raised the main image panel up, again using Stampin' Dimensionals, but I also cut this piece out with my Big Shot and a square Stitched Shape Die. I layered this on another piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock.

I had thought to add a few pearls on this card, however, I had not brought enough with me on my travels, so decided to leave them off.

Which card do you like the best? Basic Stamping or the Stepped Up version?

Plan to come to OnStage with me in 2018 as part of my team - join here today!

After attending OnStage I will share here on my blog some of the swaps I receive in return for mine.
